Notes: In order to make the purchase on-line please have on hand the following documents: an identity document, a credit card and names of all the participants. It is possible to purchase a ticket at a reduced price for children aged between 6 and 18 years and students under 25 years on presentation of a student identity card (International Student Card) on the day of the visit. .

The tour of the Gardens, aboard an eco-friendly Open Bus, enables visitors to comfortably admire the beauty of the worlds’ smallest state, rich in important monuments, works of art and natural wonders. The multilingual audio system (available in Italian, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian) guides the visitor to the discovery of an unforgettable architectural and artistic project.

The duration of the tour is 45 minutes (there are no stop-offs along the Minibus itinerary).

The Vatican Museums is one of the most important Museum complexes in the world, housing very important masterpieces from the Egyptian Age to late Renaissance: ancient statues such as the Laocoon, the Apollo Belvedere and the Torso del Belvedere are hosted here.

The ticket also enables the visitors to continue, on their own, a tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

You'll visit the Room of the Segnatura, originally the personal library and office of Pope Julius II, and the first that Raphael painted. The frescoes in this room are the most celebrated of all the Raphael Rooms. The 4 main frescoes represent the fusion of classical and Christian themes. Admire the Room of Helidorus, the Room of the Fire in the Borgo and the Hall of Constantine .

The Sistine Chapel was built in the 15th century and was decorated with frescoes by the mostfamous artists of the time including Botticelli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio and Michelangelo.

The visit proceeds with St. Peter's Basilica, the world's most famous church. The first stop at St. Peter’s is in the square where the guide will explain the architecture and the fascinating external details. The church was designed by Michelangelo, although he died before its final completion. Upon entering the Basilica, you will stop at Michelangelo’s Pietà. His only signed work, Michelangelo sculpted this beautiful marble statue when he was only 25 years old.

The next and last stop is at Bernini’s Baldacchino. Made in the 17th century, this huge bronze sculpture stands above the high altar and St. Peter’s tomb.
